    Music has always been a force for change, and NMGMC is proof of that.

    NMGMC performs Elton John’s biggest hits at the Lensic on June 20, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., bringing his legendary catalog to life with dynamic vocal arrangements and energy.

    • Santa Fe: Friday, June 20, 2025, 7:30 p.m. Featuring I Am Harvey Milk and Unbreakable, both composed by Andrew Lippa, the production explores the life of Harvey Milk and the broader LGBTQ+ experience over the past 120 years through personal and historical narratives.

      • Santa Fe: Saturday, March 29, 2025, 2 p.m.

        Their 2025 season features The Unbreakable Harvey Milk, a tribute to a pioneering LGBTQ+ activist, and We’re Still Standing! – National Hispanic Cultural Center

  • The New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus returns to Santa Fe with two performances that celebrate LGBTQ+ icons through music and storytelling.

    For more than half its history, the chorus rehearsed in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque, with members driving between the two cities and from as far away as Los Alamos and the East Mountains. – Popejoy Hall

    The New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus invites Santa Fe music lovers to be part of their journey by attending performances, making donations, or spreading the word about their work.

    In 2013, the Metropolitan Community Church recognized the Chorus with an award for “Recognition of Music.” In 2013, Albuquerque’s LGBTQ+ community by vote selected NMGMC to receive Albuquerque Pride’s “OUTstanding Performing Group” award. – Lensic Performing Arts Center
