And the bartenders are super nice – they’re a great contrast to the occasional “divas” you might encounter on some nights. They also host a DJ dance party on the last Saturday of every month.

T:me – A cute little gay bar perfect for that neighborhood vibe, while still being friendly to tourists and expats. Think again, my friend.

There’s a nice mix of other tunes too – mostly K-Pop – but you’ll also hear a few canto pop and J-Pop hits.

As for the drinks, they don’t require a cover charge or have minimum consumption rules. They host regular drag performances and DJ takeovers to get everyone having a good time.

misterb&b is not a hotel or chain, but rather a booking platform for rooms, apartments and homes and it allows you to book from gay and gay-friendly hosts around the world. The vibe is fun and festive with overhanging branches, beautiful flowers, and of course, a disco ball! It includes a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, dark room, and cabins. Their fun events include drag shows, trivia nights, burlesque and of course song and dance.

Don’t worry, the culture here is just like that.

Just take note, if you want that quiet setting, you need to avoid coming by on Friday or Saturday nights. They also have happy hour daily from 6pm to 10pm, if you’d like to lose some inhibitions before you let loose. If that’s your thing, then you’re in the right place.

The DJ plays energetic EDM tunes, so feel free to dance with your company.

With no cover charge or minimum spend, you can head straight to the dance floor, to get the party started! There’s also no pesky dress code as is the case with plenty of other clubs in the city. Each year has a theme with a dress code, the most recent being “Pride Rainbow.” Dates: 2026 to be announced.

Pink Dot Hong Kong – This annual event began in 2009 in Singapore to support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community.

With some of the most electrifying tunes spun by the DJ, it’s totally a party out here, especially if you come by on Friday or Saturday.

The service alone is enough to make anyone fall in love. Drop by here for some fun and enjoy the karaoke in the main room or cosy up in the couch area and indulge in grilled izakaya dishes, and enjoy libations from their happy hour menu from 6.30pm to 9.30pm offering free flow red and white wine, beers, and sake for only $98 per serving.

Lessy

L’Paradis has been around for years so when they announced their closure last year, we thought Hong Kong was losing another of its dwindling lesbian bars.

There’s a full menu and daily happy hour from 5 to 8 p.m. It’s noisy during those days, so it’s hard to keep a good conversation going. Located between Repulse Bay and South Bay, and with no direct transportation stopping right at the beach, this is a secluded, tranquil spot that’s a world away from the touristy Repulse Bay.

There are technically two beaches within Middle Bay; the smaller one that sits north of the main beach is more quiet, very queer, and unofficially okay with nude sunbathers. A standout feature is the color-coded keyring system to indicate sexual preferences—a handy touch!

Gay Beaches in Hong Kong

Middle Bay Beach – While not officially a gay beach, this is the most popular spot for gay sunbathers – the northern side especially.

The hotel conveniently sells tickets to attractions such as Ocean Park, Disneyland, the Big Bus, and local tours.
